Sometimes, you’re anxious. Others, you’re numb. Either way: you’re exhausted from feeling this way.
It often feels like there’s no way out of this cycle you feel caught in. Somehow each day is harder than the last, and the things that once sparked joy no longer do. You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the life you want to live. Social interactions are draining—it’s exhausting trying to keep up appearances—and sometimes it's hard to feel motivated to accomplish even the simplest of tasks.

My Approach
Anxiety and depression don’t follow a linear path and often look different for everyone. Navigating them while trying to figure out your life as a young adult can be challenging and overwhelming, even if you’re seemingly doing “well” from the outside. These feelings may seem all-consuming, but they don’t have to define you.
I take a holistic view and approach to therapy which means I consider your mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being as we work through the challenges you’re facing. I know you have responsibilities and obligations regardless of whether you feel up to them or not, so I’ll also equip you with practical skills and coping strategies that can help daily life feel easier and more manageable. We'll set clear and achievable goals together, focusing on what you want to get out of therapy. This collaborative process allows us to build a path toward greater purpose and direction in your life.
I believe in tapping into your strengths—those skills and successes that have carried you through tough times before this. By highlighting your resilience (not just the places you’re struggling), we’ll work to cultivate a sense of confidence and self-trust that you can take into each area of your life. Through cognitive-behavioural techniques, you can learn to recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns and discover mindfulness practices to keep you grounded in the present moment.
By the end of our time together, my goal is to help you understand yourself and your emotions better, equip you with skills to manage difficult feelings or circumstances, and foster empowerment and motivation to continue working toward the life you want..

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if I’m experiencing anxiety or depression?
Anxiety and depression can show up in many different ways, but common signs of anxiety include constant worry, racing thoughts, difficulty sleeping, or feeling overwhelmed. Depression may look like persistent sadness, fatigue, loss of interest in things you once enjoyed, or feeling hopeless. No matter what you’re struggling with, meeting with a therapist can be a meaningful and transformative experience to work through whatever you’re feeling.
Can therapy help with physical symptoms of anxiety and depression?
Yes, therapy can help address the physical symptoms that often accompany anxiety and depression, such as headaches, muscle tension, fatigue, or digestive issues. By exploring the mind-body connection, therapy can provide tools to help manage stress, calm the nervous system, and reduce the intensity of physical symptoms as you work on emotional healing.
Nothing brings me happiness anymore. Can you help?
Yes, I can. When nothing seems to bring you happiness anymore, it’s often a mix of things—feeling stuck, unmotivated, exhausted, or disconnected. We can work together to uncover what’s behind these feelings and develop strategies to help you move forward. This could be finding small ways to bring back joy, dealing with your stress, or learning how to manage that constant sadness. I’ll be here to support you every step of the way so you can start feeling like yourself again.
