You’re ready to find the career path that’s actually right for you.
You’re at a stage where career decisions feel heavy, and that pressure can be overwhelming. Each choice has the potential to shape your future in significant ways — sometimes, it feels easier to stay where you are. But you’re here because you know it’s time to explore your options and start making changes.
-
Confusion
You’re feeling stuck, unsure if your career or role aligns with who you want to be. Constant doubts about your path leave you questioning whether you should stay or move on. Every decision feels significant and you’re uncertain about what comes next.
Balance
Work has taken over your life, leaving little time for personal relationships, hobbies, or self-care. It feels like you’re constantly choosing between responsibilities and everything else that matters to you, and you’re struggling to maintain a healthy balance.
Confidence
Imposter syndrome often makes you doubt your abilities and hesitate to take risks. Too often, you undervalue yourself and shy away from negotiating for what you’re worth. You’re starting to wonder if it’s holding you back from opportunities or promotions you deserve.
Conflict
Challenging workplace dynamics are adding stress and anxiety to every day. Whether it’s conflict with colleagues or feeling unsupported by your supervisors or team, you’re dreading interactions and struggling to communicate. The tension is isolating, and it’s making work feel even harder.
Burnout
You’re exhausted. The constant pace and demands of work feel like an uphill battle, and you find yourself procrastinating, avoiding emails, and dreading the start of each week. The physical and emotional strain is taking a toll on your motivation and well-being.
Anxiety
The future feels daunting. You find yourself comparing your progress to others, worried about stability or advancement, and anxious about falling behind. Endless hours of job searching or exploring options only add to the worries.
Guidance in uncertainty. Support in decision-making. Belief in your potential.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if career counselling is right for me?
If you’re feeling confused about your career path, stuck in your current role, considering graduate studies or further training, or struggling to balance work and life, career counselling can help. It’s also beneficial if you’re experiencing stress, anxiety, or burnout related to your job or are considering a career change but don’t know where to start.
What’s the difference between career counselling and career coaching?
Career counselling takes a more comprehensive approach, exploring both practical and emotional aspects of your career journey. While coaching focuses on specific goals and action steps, counselling helps you understand deeper patterns and values influencing your career choices. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), I can address mental health concerns affecting your work, and my services are often covered by extended health insurance plans, unlike career coaching.
What if I’m not sure what career I want or where to start?
That’s okay, you don’t have to have everything figured out right now. Career counselling is designed to help you gain clarity and discover what feels most aligned with who you are. We’ll take the time to explore your strengths, interests, skills, and values to identify possible career directions and create a plan for moving forward.
Note: High school students are supported separately through The Career Design Studio™, a private-pay program not delivered under my counselling license.
How do I know I’m ready for a career change?
Signs you might need a career change include persistent workplace dissatisfaction, chronic stress, or feeling disconnected from your work's purpose. While not every career challenge requires a complete overhaul, sometimes professional guidance can help you explore meaningful alternatives.
Do you offer career assessments?
Yes, I provide comprehensive career assessment options tailored to your preferences. I am certified in standardized tools like the Strong Interest Inventory and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), which are available as specific assessment packages. Each package includes administration, interpretation, a thorough 60-minute debrief session where we'll discuss how the results apply specifically to your situation, and a PDF copy of your results to keep.
For clients who prefer a more organic approach, I also incorporate personalized explorations of values, skills, and interests directly into our regular career counselling sessions. Many clients find value in combining both approaches — using standardized assessments for objective insights while complementing them with ongoing organic exploration. My specialized training ensures you receive detailed, nuanced interpretations that go far beyond basic reports.
Please inquire about sample reports and current package pricing for the standardized assessment options.
I just need someone to tell me what to do. Can you help?
I get it. Career decisions can feel overwhelming. But my role isn't to dictate your path — it's to help you discover your own. Together, we'll uncover your strengths, explore your options, and build the confidence for you to make choices that truly resonate with your goals and values. Career counselling is about giving you the tools to navigate your professional journey, not walking the path for you.
